Beach Haven is in Roberts Creek on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia; Handy to Vancouver and accessible by car, bus, plane, helicopter and water taxi.

Directions by Car:
Driving from the United States border or Vancouver follow Highway Number One north to Horseshoe Bay (about 15 minutes from Vancouver). The highway ends at the Ferry Terminal where you will board a 40 minute ferry to "Langdale" on the Sunshine Coast. Please check the B. C. Ferries web site (BC ferries) for up to date schedules and information. The ferries leave about every two hours between 7:20 am and 9:15 pm but the schedule changes during the summer and on holidays. Reservations can be made by telephone or on line and are recommended for peak periods.

Beach Haven is about 10 minutes drive from the Langdale ferry terminal. From the terminal follow the main highway (Highway 101) through Gibsons towards Sechelt.

About 8 km outside of Gibsons you will pass the entrance to Cliff Gilker Park, and the Sunshine Coast Golf and Country Club both on your right. Soon on your left there will be Roberts Creek Road and you will see the community hall and fire hall. Turn Left on Roberts Creek Road and continue down to the 3 way stop in the "village center". Ahead will be the General Store, Library and Post Office. To your right you will see craft and health food stores, a kayak rental outfitter and the Gumboot Café restaurant. Turn Left here onto Lower Road. Right away you will pass over the Roberts Creek bridge, and soon see Stephens Road, the first street on your right. Turn here and follow Stephens down to the water. You will see a blue house on the waterside and next door the second last house is Beach Haven; caramel and eggplant colours. You will see a large Cedar Log entranceway at the head of the drive, and the beach peeking through on the other side of the cottage. Now you are HOME, Welcome to Beach Haven!

Bus from Vancouver
Malaspina Bus Lines (telephone (604) 885-2218 or toll free 1-877-227-8287) has service to the Sunshine Coast daily from Vancouver Airport or downtown "Pacific Central Station" Bus Terminal. The bus will drop you off in Gibsons or Sechelt (each about 10 km from Roberts Creek) where you can rent a car or take the local transit busses.

Local Transit Bus

About half of the busses between the ferry terminal and Sechelt will stop at Roberts Creek. If you take a bus that will stop at Roberts Creek General Store, you should disembark at the "Stephens Road" bus stop less than 5 minutes away. Walking 2 minutes down Stephen's Road will bring you to Beach Haven!
